Kasich believes radical Islam is the single biggest national security risk and needs to be addressed from a military point of view (such as destroying ISIS) and an idea point of view.
GRETA VAN SUSTEREN: And right here and on the record GOP presidential candidate and Ohio Governor John Kasich. Good evening sir.
JOHN KASICH: How are you Greta?
VAN SUSTEREN: I’m very well. I know you’re at a national security forum and I realize that the world is very big and very fluid but today this very day today and it could change tomorrow. What do you see as the single biggest national security risk we should be addressing?
KASICH: Radical Islam, no question about it. I believe, Greta, we not only need to address it from a military point of view (for example go in and destroy ISIS) but it’s also an idea point of view. We have to win the battle of ideas to make it clear that people that blow up innocent women and children in markets, they’re not giving you a ticket to paradise but rather (unintelligible) in life rests on your ability to live a life bigger than yourself, to be a center of healing and justice Greta. And we have to be able to tell the world that’s what western civilization and Judeo-Christian ethic is all about. So spread that to the world and destroy those people militarily.
