2016 Constitution Party Presidential Nominee

Attorney and 2008 Constitution Party Vice Presidential nominee

Darrell Castle
Born: unknown
Sitting on the extreme right of the American political spectrum, the Constitution Party is the unofficial flagbearer of the Christian Reconstructionism and dominionist movements in the United States. It comes as no surprise then that its presidential candidate espouses the same set of values as the party.

Born into a family with a strong military tradition, Tennessean attorney Darrel Castle joined the U.S. Marine Corps soon after graduating from East Tennessee State University in 1970, where he double majored in history and political science.

After spending four years in the Marines, which includes a 13-month stint in Vietnam, 2nd Lieutenant Castle left the Corp and went to pursue a law degree at the University of Memphis. Several years after obtaining his law degree, Mr. Castle founded Darrell Castle and Associates, a practice which focuses on personal injury and consumer bankruptcy. Over the following years, Mr. Castle would go on to expand his practice to neighboring Missouri, as well as to Wisconsin and Michigan.

In 1998, Mr. Castle and wife Joan established Mia’s Children Foundation in Bucharest, Romania. The foundation provides guidance to homeless gypsy children using the words of the Gospel.

The devoted Christian, who once served as a deacon in his local church, believes that the United States was founded by Christians based on the Gospel of Christ, and thus, aims to restore the country’s law and governance to its original Biblical common-law fundamentals.

Mr. Castle also believes that the United States is well on its way to becoming an anti-Christian nation. Prejudicial federal laws, meanwhile, contribute greatly to the current persecution of Christians in the country. He is confident that the only way to halt the slide is to return to the faith of our fathers.

Mr. Castle believes that homosexuality and transsexuality are part of a greater fascist depopulation, anti-family and anti-reproduction agendas. However, these insidious agendas could only succeed with a weakened Western civilization and a discredited church.

One of the major strategies in achieving the stated agendas is the enactment of indiscriminate and liberal immigration policies which has opened the floodgates to Muslim immigration to the United States. Mr. Castle believes that this will lead to national suicide as the immigrants’ refusal to assimilate with local population and lack of natural diligence and thrift will lead to an expansion of the already bloated federal social welfare system. Mr. Castle claims that evidence of this can already be seen in European countries.

Mr. Castle further argues that the sovereignty of the Western World was compromised during World War II when a sociopathic “international ruling elite” staged a silent coup of Western governments which extended even to the United States. He advocates aggressive prosecution of corrupt politicians aligned with the elites as the first step in reestablishing the Rule of Law.
